What Is Renuvion®?
This new treatment is a minimally invasive procedure that firms and smooths the skin by contracting the collagen fibers under the skin. This procedure takes advantage of your body’s natural inclination to heal itself through neocollagenesis. During the outpatient procedure, your doctor will insert a wand beneath the skin of your face or other areas you’re having treated. The wand releases radiofrequency and helium underneath the skin to quickly heat and cool the tissue, promoting collagen growth through the natural healing process mentioned above. The procedure is commonly used to tighten skin on or around the face but is not exclusive to that area. Patients also get Renuvion® to treat loose skin on their arms, waist, thighs, buttocks, and more.
Are You Eligible?
While Renuvion® is an effective procedure with excellent results, it’s not a solution for patients whose skin is stretched significantly due to pregnancy, weight gain/loss, or other factors.
